nope. just like 4x4
yeah: just swap the output shaft of the transmission to 27spline or the input of the t-case to 32spline (latter being preferable).

As far as 4x4 vs AWD goes, a selectable 4x4 T case is far superior to AWD for several reasons.

1: Selectable means burnouts, mud bogging, and hardcore street launches.

2: AWD has no low range

3: AWD is push button trash, with a selectable T case you can have a mechanical lever to beat into place which is more reliable IMO

4: The AWD case is lame because you need that expensive adapter to put a 80e in front of it.
get out of here with your fabrications & falsehoods!
that's only partially-accurate

so are H3s (granted they've got electronic selectors)

The OEM Part can be re splined. How ever its not easy to find some one that can do it locally.
so is the BW 4485 from the later Denali/Escalade/etc

as for the 32spline input shafts, there's a guy on here who's been making them for a decade.

We were talking about swapping an F body and H2s and land cruisers don’t count with that topic.

Always engaged is even worse than selectable AWD IMO

Been on grinder all day if y’all are looking for a hook up . Anyway here’s half of it cleaned, give me words of encouragement and maybe I’ll finish the rest tonight

To be fair I didn’t realize they had low range so you win on that battle.

Tubes are smooth

I’m not sure when or how I acquired this old B&D spinny guy but it **** for sure. Although it must weigh triple what my Dewalt 4 1/2” death wheel weighs and my back can attest to that.

I had the other garage door open and 2 large fans oscillating, while wearing a welding neck gaiter. Not the best protection but neither were my crocs and socks .

tomorrow I’ll clean up the pumpkin a tad and work on fitting the stuff I need to weld on.

If you aren't gonna wear a PAPR, wear one of these while you grind and plasma cut. Trust me, you'll thank me later. Like in 10yrs, but- black boogies suck
