That’s kinda how I feel about it, I was genuinely impressed that the 4pot up front made a difference in pedal feel and actual stop distance reduction. It’s the only upgrade besides hydro boost that I can honestly say a difference was noticeable. Now I’m not sure if the truck your talking about has the same brake setup as the H2 axles since they are only a 9.5” semi floater but I will order one and test!

I have a 14 bolt 10.5" ring gear full floater, but if that H2 axle is similar year they may have the same caliper brackets. I don't know much about the H2 stuff, maybe it was more custom than the truck/suburbans offerings.

It looks like both the H2 and your 2001 2500HD SLE use #19331022 and #19331021 for rear calipers so it should be compatible if it works for me. I ordered a rotor last night so when it gets here I'll begin testing.

***Edit*** I canceled the order until I measure the rotors on there, they might already be 13".

Masonry bricks are a great substitute for 1 grit sand paper.

Got the H2 axle torn down enough to get everything cut off tomorrow. Also managed to test fit the 4piston calipers and it’s not looking to good so far. The current rotors are a hair under 13” and there is a considerable amount of space need to fill the caliper completely and have good pad contact. I don’t believe a 13” rotor would solve the issue but maybe there’s another 8x6.5 pattern rotor that would work. I’ll do some parts research when I’m bored at work next week.

Also got the 8 lug adapters on up front, had to cut a half inch or so off the top of the studs and the adapters were funky 2 piece doodads but it should work. I think the forged dodge wheels with Chevy caps looks HAWT for less than $350. I can’t wait to see it on dirty5s

Maybe it's just the perspective, but do those calipers stick out a lot farther than stock calipers? Looks like you may have to run like 18"+ wheels to fit them, or no?

When I did the swap on my Tahoe I tested a few different sets and it’s hit or miss for 17”s. They cleared with my method race wheels 17s but in factory NBS Denali 17”s they hit the barrel ever so slightly, could have probably shaved a 1/4” off the leading and trailing edge of the caliper and they would have fit. I have not yet checked to see if it will clear the dodge wheels.
