Been about 2 years now, doin ok so far..... Constantly tired sucks though... Yeah that kinda bypass would definitely be much more enjoyable.... Sure it would leave one with less aches and shoulder pains too!!!

I'm sure that was a wake up call! have you tought about changing the spring set up for something softer or progressive?
I didnt get much done today except trimming one bump stop because I thought I had the right size drill bit but dont. also smashed my finger at work and im being a baby about it.

Man up, lol i cut myself and bleed like a stuck pig!! I have a cut on my finger where i caught a fan shroud on a camaro tuesday thats still was bleeding earlier today.... The meds i am on i think make me feel worse than i should and leave me with cuts that wont heal!!! But, yeah was kind of a wake up call!! As far as springs i have 2500hd rear springs that are rated for something like 18,500 or something..... Think my fabtech shocks are just worn slam the hell out at this point!!!!

Its also pouring rain dark and my new garage is tiny enough that only half the truck fits in and has no power. (temporary appartment until orders drop and I can flea south!)
I would guess the springs are one of the problems I want to remove my over load spring to soften mine up a bit I couldnt imagine 2500 springs ouch.
I greatly enjoyed hacking off my old fabtech torsion cross member yesterday dont think I will ever buy anything from them just seems over priced for mediocore quality.

Ive been happy with my fabtech stuff, just little disappointed they dont make replacement control arms to go with their dual shock setup and only have hd tie rods for hd trucks.... Need look at what exactly the difference is in the outer tie rods, but inners are same part number for the 1500 and 2500... The torsion bar bracket that the rear of the bars go into is the factory one the fabtech kit bolts to the bottom of the frame and moves the bracket down.... Another reason i prefer fabtech over superlift or pro comp is they leave the steering linkage in tact rather than some goofy *** bracket that drops the drag link down off of the pitman and idler arms, and i prefer leaving the upper contral arms where theyre at rather than dropping them down.... Fabtech and i think its rcd are identical brackets biggest difference is what they do with the seay bar and the rcd comes with better shocks, iirc!!

Your right I dont really have a problem with the design of their stuff more the quality but I only have experiance on this truck.
Broken AAL and everything seems to be rusting more then the frame itself. But it also does hang lower so no biggy I guess.
I kind of wish I would have gone with beefy tie rods rather then just sleeve but at the time I was on a super budget and Just wanted to 4x4 launch with a little security.
I dont think Ive ever seen your truckk do you have a build thread?

My trans build thread has kind turned into my build thread but it was started after most of the build was done, i probably ought to sit down and make an actual build thread.... Started one for specifically for the yukon, havent for truck yet....go figure!!! Lol

From past experiance I have found its always easier and more fun to do a build thread as you go rather then talk about the past.
Got the upper mount installed after alot of lube and some good drilling but I need a spring compressor to give me an extra inch or so to slip the bottom in. so I should be finished tomorrow!

I have pics of everything, well almost everything was kind of a situation of ok here is what i did tonight, rather than a step by step type deal and a lot of it is heres engine out, the firewall sanded, then primed, then rattle canned black then rattle can cleared.... It is a ton of pictures...... I have seriously thought about a build thread but would take forever to download all of it and explain what was going on lol
