Droppin More Quarters Then Michael J Fox @ a Parking Meter (pic heavy)
well I've been on this site for quite some time now, learned lots and tried to help as much as I could.
I decided its time to finally make myself a "project gallery" and show all of my progress so far and update as I make more.
being on this site is bad for your wallet haha there's never "1 last mod" cause you always find something else to do.
the title of this I stole from another forum, I thought it was pretty funny.
I regret not taking more pics of some of the stuff, and other stuff I had to screen shot off my instagram cause I never saved the pic.
I may forget a couple of things here and there, I really shoulda done this a while ago!
well here we go
in may of 2010 I drove off the lot with my brand new 2010 Silverado LT ECSB, I never owned a new vehicle and I planned to keep it forever.
I was so excited to have it I didn't bother even taking a pic, drove it straight home and began debadging it
and here it is later that evening
the next day I drove it to the next town to visit the gf at the time (now wife) BUT I made sure to shine it up first
Then I went and got the windows tinted, not very much just a touch lighter then the factory tint on the rears
and around here "film tint" on front windows is illegal haha "do not pass go"
look at all this stockness
thought this was a strange coincidence, 666km and 13 degrees
at this point I figured...its broken in lets start "modding" as I called it back then
to this day my friends bug me about this, I had bought this truck as a DD and my sole purpose was a couple of MPG mods and your typical uneducated upgrades
behold the CAI
and don't forget the shorty headers (cause those work awesome on a NA 5.3L haha)
oh and don't forget the MSD wires cause those help...lots haha, actually I ended up taking them off and selling them cause about a day later I started getting weird idle issues
I always put an exhaust on everything I own, but if I knew the piping size wouldn't do any HP numbers I would've just done a tip and a muffler
I finally made a wise performance upgrade choice and got myself an autocal from black bear
then things kinda sat dormant for a month or so and I decided..why not lower it a hint, just a touch haha
bring on the belltech drop struts, shackles and block delete
here it is installed...really cant notice much of a difference haha
I had always wanted to install HID's in something so I figured why not, I did 35w 6000K Hi's Lo's and Fogs

I decided wheels would really help out the look, I was kinda unsure of them but I got them anyways, I ended up hating them and selling them so that's good!
I believe this was around the time I found this site cause I was starting to get bored with the truck and wanted more 'merica
not before installing some more show rather then go
interior LED lights
spent some time one weekend and spray tinted my tails
the truck sat fairly untouched for the remainder of the summer while I spent time researching on here and building my hopes and dreams.
then a package arrived containing a Detroit locker, 4.10 Richmond excel gears and install kit
I took this pic to prove all the people who said "oh I hope you never plan to drive over 100km again" wrong haha. they're response was typically "wow that still revs less then my truck!"
I wanted to protect my investment a little bit so I grabbed a cover with bearing cap supports
about 4 days later I received another package containing a 3000 stall converter from circle d
this still wasn't enough! so I called up SDPC and ordered they're DOD delete kit, and I called up Texas Speed and ordered they're 220R cam on 112LSA, Pacesetter Long Tubes and Comp's Trunion Upgrade Kit
I was in such a rush to get the job done, I didn't take any pics!
if any of you are familiar with emissions tests and hydro carbons etc you'll laugh at my idle shot, we don't have any emission stuff here but I tested mine just to see

at this point with the gears and cam, I was able to get to higher speeds and I started feeling a drive shaft wobble and that scared me, so I called up the DS specialists in Houston and placed my order

I found that if I was aggressively beating on the truck I'd consume some oil, not much but enough to open up the wallet for a Mike Norris Catch Can!
I really had no use for an A/F gauge, but they make you go faster and look cooler! thats not my usual idle ratio, it just happened to bounce there when I took the pic

ever since I did the cam, LT and ORY swap I had an insane drone at about 1800rpm, made my ears pressure up and hurt!
so I grabbed myself a dynomax bullet, its actually really helped! still drones a hint but way better then before

actually just today my Tru Cool 40K showed up, my PML pan is on the way!
and this week my PRC (243 stage 1) heads shaved .035", UDP and Brian Tooley link lifters should be here!
I plan to have the heads installed next weekend, I'll do the trans pan and cooler another weekend
