Lololol well to be fair to me, my plan was to use them once my current tires wore out. Plans have changed, my truck is just too rusty to save. My friend has an '05 SS and is buying the rims off me and plans on using them. So maybe summertime

Had to buy a new battery yesterday, pretty sure I killed it after doing all my soldering. Went from a mid tier AC Delco to an AMG from NAPA so definite upgrade but that means no more fun parts for an even longer period.

or does it?

I'm a little dyslexic myself sometimes...

My last glass mat battery lasted 6 years so no complaints. They're designed more for cars that have the battery under the rear seat or in the trunk. They don't emit fumes into the cabin, are vibration tolerant but suffer from heat exposure... like under the hood. They also won't cause the metal battery tray to prematurely rust like an acid fill battery will.

I cheap'd out this time with the Walmart "MAXX" battery for $101 out the door. It's the same exact battery as the Interstate, Duralast and a dozen more brand names all manufactured by Johnson Controls. They just slap different stickers on them and ship them to the corresponding stores. My brother in law is a die hard Interstate guy and didn't like hearing he could have gotten the same battery at Walmart for $75 less

Yeah relatively everything I buy nowadays is store brand, all coming from the same factory and company. I can't remember the term for the way stores can put their own labels on products but thank god for it cause it helps the prices.

Anyways I drove an hour to pick up the Cadillac antenna delete piece for $5 today, absolute steal since the only one on ebay is going for $81. I also change the location of the fuse for my subwoofers to against the firewall since previously it was above the battery on the fender support arm just zip tied, now it is screwed down. Looks much nicer.

Yes I know the truck is disgustingly dirty, it has been sitting a few days.

Looks like I'm doing a 2/4 later this year. I just can't stop looking at it and saying I think it needs a bit more drop. Trying to source either TBSS reps or declads as my wheel of choice before I drop since a spindle won't let me run my stock 16s lol
