Of course that is very true. I stockpile money like nobody’s which is why I was able to do a full engine swap on a part timer budget lmao
Speaking of engines I have got to get this 5.3 out of my garage. Going to put some pictures up and hopefully it sells. I think I’m going to keep the wiring harness and pcm just in case I want to do a swap I can just buy a longblock and have all the electronics ready to go.

Left headlight went dead, right headlight is flickering. Right turn signal bulb is on but won’t flash. Right turn signal arrow bulb went out in my gauge cluster but then turned the truck off and on and it was fixed. I’m tired of these headlights and probably will be yanking them out and ordering ebay clears. Nothing but problems ugh

Tomorrow I’ll finish the job and weld everything up and attach the bumper. Next week I should get my clears and LEDs

Also got a massive amount of stuff coming in, new headlights, turn signals and tail light housings as well as every LED bulb for the exterior of the truck.

Swap looks good! Its a pain to fit the bumper and cap just right with no crazy gaps.
Did you break that tab on the very corner that tucks around the bumper? That's what I broke on mine so I added a little screw to keep it pulled in properly. Since the screw is facing inside the wheel well nobody has ever said anything about it and it looks factory-ish to me.

Yes that is exactly what I did. Also my welder wanted to reinvent the wheel with the swap so I have some funky brackets cx

Mine aren't the prettiest either but it's what's on the surface that counts. The HD grill/Bumper without the HD hood has been growing on my a lot. I see a couple of trucks local like that and it looks clean.

Yeah I really like the combo honestly. I think the hood makes it a little too beefy. But now looking at how close the valence is to the ground I don’t know if I wanna go any lower
