Heck no can't beat beat free with a stick! The 862s on my LQ4 feel strong maybe one day I'll get a power number but for a budget head I don't feel them fall off or choke power.

Quick question, should I swap my ecm? I have the matching 6.0 ecm that I can swap as well or should I keep my 5.3 and just retune it?

Also drive by cable/drive by wire, what do I need to do to get around that? I honestly thought I had a link somewhere that answered my question but I cannot remember.

if you want a little bump in flow have them cut 2" valves into them.

Engine made it out the bed of the truck a few days ago!

Also dropped my heads off at the machine shop so they could get a bath and checked out as well as to install my LS6 springs.

On the TSP cam, call around to find one in stock, if possible. I ordered mine from TSP and they cut to order, I believe, and it took 3 - 4 weeks to get it from them.

Any reason you're going with AC delco plugs over NGK's?

Great choice on the tuner.. Casey tuned my 99 and he is an awesome dude.

Add a cam retainer plate to the list. I use the MAHLE B31822 from Amazon ($18). You will need new lifter trays. The last thing you want is a lifter turning inside a worn or cheap chinese lifter tray. Buy the GM Performance LS2 trays part number 12595365.

I couldn't find NGK part numbers, kept getting confused and basically running around in circle's looking for them so I just choose ACDelco.
Casey tuned my Uncle's supercharged 01 and I was there for a dyno, he is an amazing dude.

Lifter trays came with those lifters iirc but I will go back and check. Retainer plate added now.
