Can't remember why I needed to replace the OEM knock harness from the salvage LQ9. I cheaped out and bought one from e-bay and the wires were such a tiny gauge... I laughed and threw it in the trash. The Dorman is a quality replacement if needed.

Here are the declads I bought. They look good and have a great color but just not for this truck imo. I am going to sandblast them, polish them, and then clear them. Just need some center caps which should get here today, some lugs and I’ll be all good. I thought about painting them Chevy Rally Wheel Silver and then tossing some clear on it but didn’t think it would be shiny enough and that is a bit more expensive. Still might if the polish turns out dookey.
Also it already has my new tires, Falken Pro CVS or CV5 in 265/50R20 way smoother ride than before imo my other cheapy tires were not this nice.
Thoughts anyone?

Just because I was curious I went out and tested the knock sensors for resistance and found that they were all good so I am not going to be replacing them.

Is that your truck in the picture above? If so absolutely no need to paint it. The Declads look good I like the darker grey but they don't give me a stiffy so take that for whats its worth.

Imma give you a stiffy
Yes that is my truck above. I like the grey it is a perfect color but not for a black truck where the accent color is chrome imo. I got some center caps and those will be on after polishing (pretty sure I’m going that route)
The declads look about 50 times better in person I am genuinely impressed and love them they look sweet. Had a couple of compliments after I put them on

Please don't that would be weird.
I think they will look real good polished and with caps. Truck looks good, besides that extra -1" in the back I wouldn't touch the stance, it looks functionally good and not so low it rides like garbage.

But the 2/5 is calling my name
I do agree with you though this is probably the best stance the truck has had it is great looking. Maybe what I’ll end up doing is just buying the coilovers and rocking them solo for a while

Just picked up some puddle lamp side mirrors last night. Buddy is selling his 02 Tahoe and picking up an 07 NNBS Suburban so I scalped them for free. One side is the 02 factory motor, might be after market as it does shake a tad when I drive but that may be normal I can't remember, but the other is an 03-07 motor so I am going to have to do a motor swap on that passenger side. After I get that all done I will just need to wire the puddle lights to the door and presto!
So on a side note anyone know how to stop my side mirror from bouncing around a tad when I'm at highway speed? I was thinking about putting on some wheel weights around the back of the mirror to make it heavier and therefore harder to move. I need to get my electric mirror switch working again as well I think it fell out of the socket...

Anyone feel like there would be an issue with me turning off the knock sensor code that keeps popping until I replace the sensor? I'm getting pretty effing tired of clearing the code every few days. I do not understand this *** code. Knock sensors are gay.
Pretty sure the sensor did go bad though. I have the replacement I have just had zero time to actually replace it.
