My 99 had buckets and when I bought the 14 I searched for split bench for that exact reason @dantheman1540.

Replaced my oil pan gasket last night. Needed to drop the steering to pull the pan cause it kept hitting the baffle that is below the crank? Idk what it is called.

What metal in the oil pan?

I put a magnet in there and nothing stuck to it so I don't think so. I washed it all out before I put my pan back on

The windage tray is the baffle you are refereeing to.
The oil pan castings are really rough and have casting flash in them. If its not magnetic and its not loose its the casting flash.

Thank you couldn't remember what it was called might be retarded though.

I was thinking it might be casting flash but can that show up again? I've already pulled the pan once I figured I would have got all of it out the first time

edit: by loose do you mean I can't move them in the pan? Cause there are pieces of slag basically in the pan that creates a rough surface but that stuff I could wipe out

Casting flash is from the manufacturing process, most of it is bonded to the pan. Usually, you have sand it off to get rid of it. Some times you can knock it off if it has a weak bond.

the casting flash Is like splatter when they poor the aluminum.

Yeah I have some of that. This stuff I could move around and stuff. I used brake cleaner and sprayed it all out.
