Exaaaaactly I'm just waiting on you Arthur!

Yeah that is what I am going to go with when RockAuto releases my funds that are on hold right now. Doesn't really matter when I order them I won't even be getting to the UCAs this weekend anyway.

Perfect! Glad I got some affirmation on these. I'll have a whole new front end after this lol
Tonight I'll go home and pull the UCAs and put in my bed bolts.

How the **** do I get the knuckle separated from the LCA. I cannot get the damn thing off. Please advise. Tomorrow I am ready to rebuild except for this one ******* atrocious piece.

I used a pickle fork and a BFH.

the BFH wasn't big enough so I borrowed a 10lb sledge

I had to grind one of the forks to keep it from digging into the LCA, and it came off! It was a hassle. Pickle fork and a bigger hammer than you think you need; you'll get her

Yeah I ended up detaching the LCA and BFH’d the stud up and out.

Tomorrow the plan is that it all goes back together. Gotta get the tie rod end off so I can get the rack and pinion boot put on. Just gotta figure out how to take it off first lol

Looks like the truck is not going back together this weekend. First of all I forgot to order outer tie rods and mine are shot, see 23 year old outer tie rods. Second of all, my coil over brackets do not fit the control arms. The bolt holes do not line up. When I first got the LCA and the brackets I swore they looked pretty close. After trying to put one bolt in there is no way of getting the second one in. It is just millimeters too narrow. I have already contacted Atomic and am awaiting his response. Either I will drill new holes and say **** it, not like it would shift anyways, or he may have another option for me. I am out of town all of next week so no skin off my back whatever happens.

Next weekend I was hoping to pull the bed off and get the c-notch, hangers, and shock relocation brackets mounted. Now that the front end is not on the ground I don't think I will be doing that. Do I need to drop the tank to get the hangers on? I don't remember needing to but maybe I forgot. Anyways see below photos for bracket issues.

I’d drill that and not think twice.

Oh I would too. Want to ask first about my car’s Extended warranty before I bust it out
