Well interestingly enough I decided to drive the truck to work today, normally I leave it and drive something else, I get on the high way all fine and dandy no problems right? When suddenly about half way through my commute I notice, I think I just lost 4th gear, and then I notice, I think I just lost 3rd gear. I think I have a 2L60 now. What the ****....
I'm going to limp it home tonight but I don't really know what I can look at. I guess I let the magic out with the trans fluid dumped all over my driveway. Yes I filled it back up.
Edit: Now that I'm thinking about it, I wonder if it has something to do with how I set up my neutral safety switch. I am not good with transmission so I am just gonna start a thread on it before I go on craigslist

@silentbravo Mine shifts forwards and backwards when I go to stop or hit the gas. It really isn't a big deal but being that the seat repair kit is $10 or $15 I see no reason not to pick it up. It gives you all the bushings needed to do the driver and passenger side.
4L80e shopping, hope it doesn't come to that though hahaha

Warranty for the trans coming in hot here soon...
In other news I am going about doing some odds and ends. Since my unmedicated ADHD has decided to lock onto heated seats I am going to try and fix my heated seat buttons. Currently you have to press them a whole bunch of times to get them to high. Arthur thinks that it is the element in the seat which may be likely but I cannot find that **** anywhere unfortunately, hell I can barely even find any 99-02 seat heater issues. I was thinking the switch because the light is also burnt out inside of it. Anyways not real sure what to do just yet, I wish I had a known good switch I could test but unfortunately I don't. Maybe I will just spend the $20 to test one from eGay and see if that works right off the bat.
Fix it list is back at 11 cx

I only want cars with heated and cooled seats. If I ever get a single cab that would be the first thing I do is retrofit heated and cooled seats and a heated steering wheel.
