Looking forward to hearing about this 11:1/Radix combo. Sounds like fun!

Overall, how satisfied are you with the swap into a RCSB? What pros & cons stick out for you? I've been considering doing the same for a while...

IAT's go through the roof without the intercooler and cause the detonation? The higher compression and blower setup should be fun

Going from a ecsb 2wd to a rcsb 4wd is and was night and day difference. The 2wd was useless on the street. But if I had an ecsb 4wd, I dont know if I would have done the swap.

Assuming they are both either 2wd or 4wd:
The pros are the reg cab is smaller, easier to park, lighter, sportier (my opinion), etc.
The cons are that it is small, if you carry a lot of stuff, you only can put stuff behind the seats or in the bed. And you can carry 2-3 people in a reg cab.

If you have a need to carry people and/or things routinely, I would keep the extended cab. I dont think it is worth the .3-.5 in the 1/4 and not have the ability to use your truck the way you need to. Mine is for fun only. I have a TBSS as a daily driver.

I am assuming yet, I didnt take any timing out, it got hot, and detonated.

I am hoping for 600 rwhp... I made 550 with the radix intake tube and maf on 91 with meth.

At least the Chevy are worth fixing. The fords just end up getting crushed...

I got the motor in awhile ago, it runs good. I had to back the timing around 5 degrees across the board because of the high compression. Only running about 12.5 degrees after peak torque. I was running about 18 with the lq4. I think E85 and ramping the timing back up will really help. It much crispier off idle even with less timing.

I redid the front suspension about a month ago. Installed DJM upper and lower a-arms, and belltech SP shocks. It rides much nicer, just has more bump steer than before. It also aligned perfectly. The transfer case was leaking, so I bought a rebuilt unit a couple weeks ago. Just finished installing it yesterday.

I have Caltracs, new hangers, hydroboost set up, stainless steel brake lines, Baer alumasports up front, SUV rear brakes, and boost-a-pump to install. I plan to get this all installed in the next couple of weeks and work on an e85 tune. Hoping to get some 11.50's out of it. I have some pics on my camera that I will upload.
