Damn, why didn't I think of that!

I would love to give it a shot down the road just to see if it would work. Maybe someday when I have some time we will get an answer.

you will between 12.5 and 12.75 to 1 depending on gasket thickness. I would run the L92 or LS9 headgaskets. I ran Diamond pop-ups in my 370 at 11.5 to 1 with L92's as a DD motor. I couldn't run more than 26* total timing. NA it made 504whp. I sure do miss that motor..

LS9 stock replacement head gaskets?

Will this gasket work?
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/NA...0046/?rtype=10

I got stock LS1 gaskets not thinking about the larger bore. My bore is 4.030 and the ones I posted is 4.080 bore.

If they won't can someone point me to the correct GM performance headgasket for my aplication? Eveyone keeps saying just use GM performance gaskets but I can't find one for my exact bore size.

How about this gasket. It is a 4.020 bore?

The 4.080 bore will work. (Part# 12610046) They are LS3/L92 replacements and are the 5 layer gasket. 020 bore gaskets won't work for obvious reasons,,

What timing set are you guys using? I bought this set from Yank over on ls1tech and it seems loose as hell! Some guys over there say they have ran it without issue. Others were in with my opinion and thought it had too much slack and went another route.
Here is how much slack is in the chain.
