Default Front mount swap

It's about that time Going to be pulling the blower off and selling to a member here on the forum, then sending kbracing96 a nice fat paypal payment for a log manifold kit. Turbo of choice will be the S475 I currently have, with a quick spool valve to bring it online a little quicker. My thinking is that the QS valve which is supposed to reduce spool time by 33% along with bringing it closer to the engine should make it spool damn near as quick as it does now with the blower.

Couple reasons I'm making the change...mostly because the blower is too small to be of any use at the power level I am looking to reach. I've also been increasingly weary about having the turbo behind the cats. If one of them decides to let go, it's bye-bye turbine wheel. Last but not least, being twincharged carries a lot of hype, and the blower limitation makes it difficult to live up to. I haven't been beat but maybe once or twice on the street, but its still a slow truck for having a supercharger and turbo. I'll pull off a high 12 on a good day...

Moving the turbo up front with the new hot pipes should push my boost up a bit as well; I'm guessing in the 12psi range. Going to try the air to water intercooler route for this build. I'm not convinced that A/A or A/W is superior over the other, but there is no A/A kit for GMT 900s yet so my choice was made for me.

Going to start ordering things tomorrow - as soon as parts start rolling in, pictures will be up!

edit: I am looking for suggestions for exhaust! Gonna be a 4" DP, and I have the magnaflow muffler that I'm going to reuse. Just not sure if I want to do something creative, maybe have it exit before the tire? Post up with some ideas!

Doesn't count as a win unless you actually win!

Your truck is fast though. But I've told you that lol

Why do you think I'm selling the NOS kit! And buying a front mount turbo!! I don't like getting picked on by you guys with blowers (Supersilverado) or you with a blower and turbo!
