I have only had my Syclone for about 5 months now. and before that I had my kinda beat up 2000 chevy silverado, so I havent been to any meets with the Syclone yet. And MB is a nice place to live, besides the streets aren't super truck friendly, haha!

I think there are a few Syclones in Iowa from the forums that are pretty nice!!

So, its almost been a couple months before I have updated anything, so here we go... I got all the parts ordered and they are now just all getting in! So far received the Pro-Gram 4 bolt splayed mains which have been installed without hitting the water jacket! Got the L35 heads in which I am cleaning up, but leaving stock.

Just picked up the rods today from Cunningham which look Absolutely beautiful! And they are the 6" long rods which weight in at exactly 654 grams a piece which is 24 grams lighter than stock. Also there supposed to be good to 1200 to 1600 HP, so I don't think I will break another rod!

And still to wait are the CP Pistons which should be in pretty soon, then the rest of the product depends on my $$$$ and productiveness! And here are some pics.

Not sure if you noticed they are WAY!!!! to long!!!!

They are some sweet looking pieces! They look much lighter just in the design let alone assuming they are forged.

I hope everyone caught the sarcasm in the first sentence.

I like em longer. There harder and stay more vertical Longer, Helps with power stamina and longevity!!! Not to mention there 100% made in the USA which gautentees longer stronger rods over Chinese ones! I hope she likes em!

How many cubes will the final product be? What is the stock cube for comparison.

I'm not changing the stroke or compression, but will bore somewhere between 10 to 30 over depending on what it will clean up to. The cylinder walls looked pretty good so I may only go 10 over which wouldn't make it much bigger at all.

What I am trying to accomplish with this build it to build a bulletproof bottom end and keep reliability up while still getting a tad bit more power & boost. Atleast in the future when I decide to go crazy I will have a bottom end to keep up! I will have to daily drive the Syclone for a bit sadly till I get some more $$ in my bank account to get my DD.

I see. Figured the difference in length meant difference in displacement. Obviously the pistons are different dimensions then stock also.

I would say the rods will hold up to almost any amount of power and at modest power they should last forever!
