Badass project, those C6 wheels looked great, ZR1 wheels date it a little more, but that's really a non-issue.

Keep up the good work!

Went to the body shop to pick her up last weekend. First time seeing it in a month or so.

Took it home and pulled the spindles off to modify for the Wilwood front brakes that are going on it. I would have been lazy and left them as is for a while but somehow one of the calipers seized so it was time. While I'm in there Ill replace the A-arm bushing tie-rods and ball joints. They are only 22 years old now! I should hopefully have the brakes put back on this weekend.

Have you considered painting the cladding to match? Some guys like them as is, others like painted. I like painted, personally. When you drive a Syclone, though, either is gonna be better than what I got, lol.

I thought that but I wanted that wide rear tire, and I couldn't do 18" and 19" staggered since the front and rear tires have to be exactly the same height so that I don't burn up the Viscous Clutch in the Transfer Case. The ZR1 wheels are 11" wide in the rear and 9.5" in the front but there are lots of tires out there that are the same height out there for those widths. I'm thinking of putting the newer wheels on the Typhoon and the ZR1's on the Syclone.

I did think about painting it all black. I like the look quite a bit but it looks a little too mono tone with it all painted one color imo. I did however hate the raw plastic since it was a pain to maintain so I had all the cladding painted Hot Rod black which is a semi gloss black and stays consistent. It will look good once its all back together. Another thing I contemplated was painting it another color but I wasn't going to pull the engine back out for paint and all Syclones were black (other than the Marbros) so I stayed with the factory color scheme just a little cleaner.
