Default Here is my project! 1990 LQ4

When I bought the truck 9-10-10

Replaced the trans! 9-12-10

New mirrors tint and debadged 9-14-10

Parts!

Started sanding her down 12-10-10 or so

Decided to take it to my buddies shop. Little bit cleaner.

Took off all the suspension, cleaned up the chassis and painted it using rustoleum ( I think that what it was) semi flat. Also bought a Hyperflex master kit that includes every bushing including cab mounts

Used flat black for the a arms going 5/7 drop with all need ball joints inner and outer tie rods and the rest of the suspension and steering. 1-5-10

Going with an LQ4 w/ Comp Cam 228 230 .571 .573 112 LSA for now
Next year TURBO!!!!!!!!

I was very surprised when I found this one. It has been painted as you can tell when I took off the moldings but absolutely no body work on her at all. Everything about her was stock other than the muffler. Nothing had been touched ntil I got a hold of it.

Two tone darkish blue on bottom and platinum silver on top. Those aren't the exact color names lol. But something in that area.

My very First vehicle was a 1990 SCSB 5 speed in this color. Only difference is this one has power windows and locks. I regret selling it back in 1999 so 10 years later I bought this one so I can finish my project. Lol
