I put up a thread in the drivetrain section, figured that's where most would be looking for these bars.

That should tell you everything but if you have any more specific questions let me know.

Before the rear blew I was working on one piece of the 80e at a time. Now that the rear is back together I headed out to start the assembly. Got pretty far tonight. Still in the middle of rebuilding the pump but its moving along.
Very anxious to see if this is actually going to work. Never rebuilt a trans before and anyone I mention it to throws me a sarcastic "good luck"
Also got a 4.8l 80e stall I am hoping will do alright with the 3:42 gears. A side note on the gears, took it out untuned and it def loads the turbo more even when cruising on the highway, slightly annoying to hear that thing whistle constantly at cruise. Guess time will tell how it all comes together.
As for the driveshaft, conversion joints and high speed balance? All new shaft? Suggestions?

Well not much of an update but got a little farther on the trans, pump is in and the only thing left is the valve body, currently half way through that.
Put over 500 miles on the rear, change the fluid and been launching it like crazy, with the 3:42s, sticky tires and assassin bars I have a hard time getting it to break loose on the street, just hooks and pulls.
The rear finally settled after the shackle install and is sitting pretty much level now.
