You installed the line lock on the rear brakes?

Most install on the front brakes, but it should still function properly on the rears like you are doing.

Yup I saw most install on the front but there are a couple threads here about going on the rear. Plenty of frame rail to work with and I already had the bed off to replace a rear brake line so.

Hit the 3000 mile mark with the turbo this week. Still runnin fantastic without a single issue.

Took some time this morning to get the tru cool mounted in prep for the trans swap which will hopefully take place next weekend. With a little welding I was able to modify the intercooler mounts to also hold the trans cooler.

The bottom is mounted to the plastic cover bolts with the stock strips that came with the tru cool. Just bolted them on and twisted with a pair of channel locks until the mounting holes were where they needed to be.

I was able to get some more gound clearance with the angle its mounted as well as to keep me from having to notch the bumper. The outlets of the cooler end up in between the pockets of the bumper. Cant see the cooler through the grill and it should get enough air from that small hole in the bumper.

Looks real good man! Worst case if you feel its not getting enough air, you could always cut those three indents out in the lower valance. Ive seen a lot of people do that when they have the intercooler mounted between the frame rails.

You havent had the truck dynoed since the turbo have you? Just curious what kind of power I could expect once I get the turbo on my truck at 7-8psi.

Thanks, I don't think there will be a problem with overheating. Big cooler, stock stall, and a lighter truck should do it. Cutting the bumper would be absolute last resort, was never a fan of the way it looked.

I'm too much of a chicken to put it on the dyno with the stock 60e, driveshaft and no loop. At 7-8psi, if I had to take a guess I would put at 425-450 area. Just basing that on guys doing approx 500 at 10psi but what do I know

Yea thats about what I was figuring after everything Ive calculated for my stuff. around 450 at 8psi and around 500 at 10psi.

Maybe im brave or just dumb but Im gonna try keeping the 60e as long as I can. I figure if people can get away with running maggies at 8psi on a stock trans and having them last, then with shift kit/sevos and 8psi I should be safe since I dont beat the crap out of my truck.

Better do more than that! My 5.3 dynoed at 446whp on 91oct on 6psi in 108° weather. Should be close to 550 on 10psi

Ive had my bone stock 60e (stock fluid included) behind this and its lasted for 3k so far wit no signs of quitting. I had justin leave in some tq management and I put it in 3rd when I want to beat the **** out of it.

If that's the case smokeshow, might as well keep turning up the wick until it hits the 600whp mark or blows I would be ecstatic if the truck put down mid 500s at 10psi

I just figured there would be more people at 600 if it was only 50whp away at 10psi.

Thats awesome to hear! Justin is the one who has me only wanting to do shift kit/servos with my trans, untill I decide to push it past 10psi that is. But thats not going to be untill I do a cam/stall and all that.
