I hear you man, its parked for now until saturday when I can mess with the gate and bov. Very happy with the outcome so far though, feels so much stronger than I remember my old Typhoon being.

Not sure if you already know this, but the 60E will not survive long if you drop the hammer down on the 4-2 shifts.

Nice to see you are finally able to get things wrapped up on it. I'm waiting for some vids too!

He should do whatever his transmission builder and his tuner recommend.

But seriously, yes. On my truck, and what I recommend to my friends, is this. If you're going to beat on it, take the transmission out of overdrive, and put it in 3rd(drive).

Oh, for the OP, when you do break your transmission(I just noticed your sig says stock tranny....), do yourself a favor and skip all the "built" 60e's, and upgrade to the 80e. In fact, start shopping now.

I'm with you on this, already started 80e shopping and hopefully pick one up in the next week or so. Reading all the 60e horror stories on this board and mine being at 100k already, I didn't even bother with any upgrades whatsoever.

To be honest the WOT was a bit of a spur of the moment thing that almost had me changing my underwear, been a while since i've been in anything fast.

My daily's fuel pump bit it the other day and I ended up with a 50 mile tow back home so i'd rather not have a repeat of that situation. No more WOT for me until the 80e is in.

03 Chevy Silverado 5 3 cam & custom turbo - YouTube

Friend of mine was able to shoot and put together a nice video for me, walk around, some partial throttle pulls, and a little foot braking at the end.

Been driving it all day and everything seems good, hope to send some logs back to Justin, get the tune dialed in and bump up the boost. Boost is about at 6-7psi right now.

Enjoy
