how much is a 5.3 capable of
im shooting for 11's with it and i am doing things others will never do with this 5.3's. im building a turbo f body but for mean while im playing with my truck

420 In Dyno.
We did made 420BHP/370torq@6500 rpm with a stock 5,3 engine with 40 000 miles. Only mods are: Ls1 intake, roller rockers and a 85mm TB from Summit...
It made 362 with a Ls2 cam @5500rpm. This is a used engine with original gaskets and everything..
That Thumpr cam's shocked us with that power.
We going to use them more, we must only solve the idle problem with the overlap.

Hey guys I have prc 2.5 heads with 59cc should be 10.1 cr with and the cdma is 223/230 .610/.605 with tbss intake 90mm tb lt ory cai and a yank sst3200 4.10s what u think for hp like 350-365 and I'm look to run real low 13s or maybe a high 12 possible with this set up and its a 01 rcsb 2wd
