Thanks, truck looks real good. I was thinking for some reason you had put those on earlier in the year, they are similar to your old wheels but not exactly. Brainfart

I know I said that the eagle 219 was the best looking wheel, but those welds look awesome! probably a lot easier to maintain as well. Keeping my old eagles polished was a PITA.

I have never been a fan of black wheels but the black faces on these are growing on me. I don't think I could have pulled it off when it was still two-tone. I recently polished out both sets of my 219 and spend about 20hrs on them, so yea, polishing is a PITA. The Welds have the power coated faces and barrels and the entire wheel is clear coated. The brake dust and road grime washed off pretty easy from the previous weekend. I am still thinking I want to widen one set of the 219 to 10.5 or 11 and have them powercoated titanium for another set of AutoX wheels. There are several 200TW 295/40/18 tires that are nearly half the cost of these SC3's.

Well damn, that looks great! That poor carriage bolt though... It might be time to look into a power steering pump upgrade as well, no affiliation but turn one seems to have a couple of offerings worth looking into. Also, any major factors play into the decision to run 305's over some of the 315 offerings?

I am going to see how the removal of Hydroboost, new cooler and synthetic fluid do first before reducing the pressure of the pump. I also need to measure the PS pully to see what the ratio is with the 8rib swap as I don't remember if it is larger or not to account for the larger crank pully.

The 305 SC3 is the only compound I found in a 28" tall tire that fit the bill. All the 315/35/20 tires are either drag radials or 300+TW. Only other 200TW options in the wanted height are 285/35/20 Yoks or several options in 295/40/18. The common 315/35/18 is just too short for my truck at 26". I am really hoping Yokohama adds some 20"sizes to the A052 lineup by time the SC3s are done. Although the SC3 is a 220TW tire, it is on GRM's Super200 list and gets high praises in the road race and autox community. Even TireRack ranks it right there with the best 200TW tires.

Truck looks great with the single tone. One of my 2 doors is painted that color. I’m glad you went with a smaller sidewall, staggered setup and those wheels. Reading through the thread I was like wish I could tell him right now he has the wrong tire and sidewall for auto x. But the truck turned out great. I hacked off my whole front end on my 05 (upper and lower mounts) and setup everything from scratch for my coilover setup. 900lb is still a pretty stiff spring. Are you thinking of going all in and cage it? Love your truck.

Not sure if it was a typo in your reply but i have never run a staggered wheel setup for autox. Current setup is 305/35/20 square on 20x11 wheels. My street setup is staggered with 305/45/18 drag radials and 265/50/18 up front.

No plans for a full cage since it sees a lot of street time but i am going to try my hand at tube bending soon for a harness bar.

Wheels look great!! No issues at all with the 20x11, that’s awesome!! How low are you in the rear now?
