On another note, Wiseco did not give me good news yesterday. The tech said .0065 was too much for anything other than full race with these pistons. He also stated that my clearance was probablly more like .0070 as the pistons should have measured 4.0315.

Have you thought about JE? They make awsome pistons as well. And I would concider maybe loosing my clearances on my bearings a bit. Pics look like they were trying to smear a bit, but excellent choice going with the king bearings. Every motor will be just a touch different and may like just a touch more or less than another identical to it. Just my thoughts.

4.065 is a little thin on a 6.0L block running a good bit of boost. My machine shop seems to be having a hard time doing a simple hone job, I surely don't trust them to do a sonic test for wall integrity. If they indeed messed up the bore, I will put them on the hook for a new set of custom 4.040 pistons and have another shop do a torque plate hone on it.

As to the bearings, from what I've read, performance builds shoot for .0025-.0030 on mains and slightly less on rods. My mains are right in that range currently. Unfortunately, I did not get previous clearances before the crank was turned.
