No, whats scary is he's running around in our state Brent !!! Im going to install a snowplow on our vehicles so when a run away 2500 is coming we have a chance of surviving.

This making **** is cool when its an off road mud *****/trail truck, but not on public roads where my family drives. Theres just some stuff you dont make yourself without the proper equipment.

Just buy a damn throttle body and quit fukin with this hillbilly ****. It save you a lot of headache.

Oh and if your bull headed enough to run it, put a damn guillotine on it so you can kill the engine if need be.

Makes me glad that I live in Jersey

Hey custom2500, hurry up and get this done so you can buy my BBK 80mm throttle body that I have for sale in the classifieds, when this throttle body doesn't work. Not trying to be a dick, but there are some guys around here who know a thing or two...myself, I'm an ASE certified Master Technician, including L1 Advanced Engine Performance and X1 undercar specialist...I've been in the industry for over 25 years, and my father is a master engine builder, building race engines that hold over 40 national records...obviously he's my go-to guy when it comes to internal engine concerns, it's just too bad that he's close to retirement and never got into the GENIII stuff, or I'd have him build me something badass out of my LQ9 shortblock.

Anyway, here's the link if you need it: https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...d.php?t=478287

The price is negotiable as I understand that times are tight...hence the reason that I'm selling a bunch of my gear

Don't forget, he is still considering to remove the front brakes to save weight.

budhayes3 I will buy a 90 mm TB as it nearly identical to the opening in my intake. The 90 mm is just a touch smaller then the opening.

I have refrained from posting so far because I don't want to bash anybody's ideas but I have to put this out there.
I know the engine is different but the real story is the throttle body mods. I used to have a 87 Mazda RX7 which I fully built the engine with full on port job, turbo, ported intake, the whole works. I used the manufacturers throttle body but did an IAC delete on the notion that it was mainly a track car and I didn't need it. This engine would not run at start up, it was worse than a carb. on a cold day with no choke. When it did finally get warm it had to idle around 1500 RPM, and would try to die when you lifted from the throttle. It did work but it was such a pain in the butt that I put the IAC back on.
Just my .02

Nearly. Not exactly a machinist term. I wonder if the machinist that you tried to get to cut your tb blade thought his buddies were pranking him. Another thought. What measurement did you give him. Was it anything with nearly in it.

You thread title says "I can't fabricate?' as if to ask a question. To answer your question. No.

Your fab skills are about as good as mine. The only difference is I know very well that I lack the knowledge and skill to custom fab a 4 link. I know there are times when it takes a professional to do something. A professional that does such things for a living; will make paying for his services so much more worth it. Some things I know better than to attempt. Ever been to that point.. . . Yes I left the question mark off for a reason.

You have got one thing down pretty good. Your threads are at least entertaining.

My TBSS intake has an inlet hole of just more then 90mm I forget the exact mesurement. The stock TBSS TB I am fairly sure is much smaller. Therfore the tube I had an inside diameter that was almost a perfect match to the intake opening. Wich also happened to be 90mm(a common TB size).

You ever take the military asvab test? I am curious as to what your score was if you ever took it.

This thread is becoming a waist of my time again with nothing but people who don't know what they are talking about or off topic subjects so i will refrain from posting till I have a result.
