Got the master cylinder mounted...

Here is the bracket polished out, also went with stainless steel washers and bolts, I think you can polish out the yellowish out of the other bolt and washers but didn't bother trying.

So clean

My **** used to be pretty clean (about 2-3 months ago). I think towing it on a open trailer doesn't help.

Yeah it probably won't last... lol

You should get an enclosed, that's what I would like but they are expensive, well the ones I would like... (someday)

id be just as confident in a setup like this (or danny's, or Travis') than the stock setup for what were doing!

I'll assume Danny is Phantom........

If so, I just posted this in his thread to show some support.


I have 100% stock brakes on the front of my truck. Even the pads are original, granted my truck has less than 20k miles on it. They are being fed by a manual master cylinder.......and I've had no trouble stopping yet.....150+mph.

I do have strange brakes in the rear with 4 piston calipers. Not sure how much that helps.

Are you running fixed or floating calipers in the rear?
