Haha you got jokes.. Dick..... Talked with a few of my painter friends today.. Best way in all their opinions is to paint the complete hood, clear it(gloss) tape the area that will be flat/satin, then scuff it with 1500.. Take base black, reduce it some, paint it.. No way to do this with out having a small edge... So I think that is the way it is going to be done..
