Good news, I've been reading the thread but haven't commented yet. Great looking engine I hope you have better luck with this one.

Good deal, you might want to make sure the converter is engaging the trans pump fully, some of the PI converters need to be shimmed.

It is engaged more with this flexplate than it is the stock one (flexplate). I am using the stock converter at the moment.

Mine did that when I put the 6.0 in. I tightened them and it stopped leaking. The next time I had the intake off I replaced those gaskets though.

Good to know. It was tight on there, thats whats weird....maybe I put the gasket on backwards? I grabbed one off of my 5.3 and put a thin layer of rtv on it, and im about to go try it now...

Got that plug squared away and went driving around. Its weird giving an engine a lot of throttle and going fast, but not hearing a whine

I really need a higher torque converter for this setup NA. Off the line is such a bummer, but man it pulls hard after that. Should be downright sick with the turbo. My 408 tune was pretty close to this one actually, so after a couple flashes my trims and PE fuel is pretty close. I am running at most 22 degrees of timing, havent touched it from my 408 tune actually, no need to break **** just yet
