Damn Richard, you always halfass everything. Can't you ever do a proper build?

Looks great so far, and sounds like it should turn out awesome.

this project is going to be awesome, I always knew you'd end up turbo.

Your willingness to try all kinds of different combos is impressive.

Thanks guys, Christmas is coming early this year with all these fun boxes from the brown truck showing up

Talked to Bryan today, and the engine should be on a truck tomorrow. I had him go ahead and tap the block for the LS2 chain dampener, since I figured why not if im going through all this work. Melling HO pump, ARP mains, my old pistons cleaned up and I should be all set. The turbo should be here tomorrow, friggin excited. I got my mufflers and fuel stuff from summit today and yesterday. I am going to finish modding the fuel bucket tomorrow. The way I am attaching them to the bulkhead is interesting and may need some rethinking if I run out of luck.

So they reused your pistons from the 408?

Negative, I wanted the CR around 9.5 so they got some "semi-custom" pistons from diamond with a 15cc dish for the 4.040 bore to put the CR where I want it. I had them clean up the 408 pistons so I could sell them. They are perfect and only had 1700 miles on them after all.
