I am completely lost on your concern with a 2600 stall! I have a 2800 and you can't tell it is stalled for normal daily driving. Now my truck is lighter then yours but I don't understand why you felt such a difference with a tiny stall. Preference is preference but I am wondering if something was wrong with your stall. Anyone else that talks about small stalls agree that they are nearly stock feeling under normal driving.

Maybe mine was exceptionally loose for its stall rating, im not sure, but it was very noticeable to me.

I've read Vigs are actually stalled higher than they are rated, i.e. a Yank 3600 is similar to a Vig 3200. Your 2600 was probably closer to a 3000 stall.

The most I ever got it to stall was around 2300, and shift extension was about the same.

i used to own a vig triple disc 4k it wouldnt brake stall but to 1800-2000, chris at circle-d reworked it, once he cut it open we found out why it wouldnt but thats another story, theyre still great stalls, but for my performance stall id go to circle-d
