Default a little motor and tranny swap

i got some water in my motor and i said what the helll its time for a little swap....


i got me a little L92



Ace Racing stage 3 tranny



3200 stall, knock/ cam adapt, map extension, cam gear, and ls2 timing cover...

im gonna get a cam before the motor goes in and some efans and try and re-use my headers....

and get it tuned...


im gonna use my factory 01 wiring and computer

Lingenfelter has just came out with this converter that changes the 58 signal back over to a 24tooth reluctor wheel signal....that i picked up from them...

this is my truck, its an 01 with 03 front end glassworks fiberglass front and rear fenders and a gay *** fabtech lift...and 35s...



and then the tear down:






dirt dobers nest..lol

that things going to be a beast!! is it the 380hp or 403hp l92? what cam are you going with? i'd do some sort of torque cam to get those 35's turning.

im looking at the HPE C cam

232/234, 112 LSA, .595/.598

think it would be a good one?

nothing, its a great lift for what its designed for...


i want to get an long travel kit for my truck but as soon as i finsh the motor swap. i wanna start building a hot rod....

that cam is wrong for your setup and weight, look at the 220 220 581 581 115 I think, or get it on a 114, your about 5600 t0 5800 lbs and a 3200 stall wont come close to the 232 cam. good luck.

222/224 566/568 112lsa is what i bought today....im gonna run it for a few months until i get enuff money to port the heads and then change out the cam again
