Haha yeah it scared me pretty good the first time it did it...Right after the exhuast got put on a Mustang pulled up next to me and I stomped it at 65mph and it came out from under me...Luckily I was being alert and two hands on the wheel with it being a new beast....Tubular UCAs and LCAs with QA1 coilovers in the front , Cal-Tracs split mono-leafs w/ double adjustable shocks, C6 Z06 brakes and bigger rubber is in the near future...

Yeah I thought about doing a truckarm kit like this:

http://www.hotrodstohell.net/truckar...uckarm_s10.htm

And other setups like 4 link , coilovers etc....But guys get some nice 60fts and ETs with leafsprings/Cal-Tracs out back. What did you have in mind?

Nothing in particular I just figured a 4 link or a good ladder bar setup might be better suited for putting the power to the pavement given your power to weight ratio. Of course the simplicity of leaves and caltracs and the price for that matter cant be beat so I understand going with that. Just curious if that still doesnt work out even after the slicks what your plans would be next.

cut the bed open and out lead
i like your project

kinda curious on the cam though. who spec'd it or is it n off the shelf cam? who made it?

275/55/16 M&H DRs is what i run in my CC. if you're gonna want it to hook at the track id look into a E.T street. i hear they hook very well.

In the future it may end up being the truckarm kit with coilovers or a S&W 4-link with coilovers and mini tubs....But I'll see how someM&H 275/45/R18s (Weld's new RT-S series: http://weldracing.com/street-performance/rt-s.html) work first...I've heard good things about the E.T streets...But I'm gonna try the M&Hs first...(Reason for the 18in wheel is because of the C6 Z06 brakes that I will using once the funds pile up)

Oh and the cam is from Vengenace Racing it's their Stage II LS3 head cam...I thought it would do well after reading tons of posts about the 6.0/LS3 heads combos...So far it's a blast to drive but we'll see what dyno says (needs a tune first) then let the track times speak for themselves..Hopefully it does decent..fingers crossed...

Very nice. I wouldn't ditch the leaf springs. You can make leaf springs work very well. Many of us guys over at s10racer.com runs leafs. Many guys are running in the 5's and what not on DRAG RADIALS and leaf springs. I have heard of some going 4's in the 1/8th mile on Drag radials and leaf springs.

Very nice truck you got there

Love the truck. I am doing a 6.0L swap in to my 2000 S10 so I might have to hit you up for some tips if you don't mind.

Yeah there's a guy over on S10forum that's running into the high 8's 1/4mile with leafs, DR's, and cal-tracs...I should be able to hook with those 275's....And it's a street/strip truck for now...

Yeah man hit me up...s10forum has a lot of stickies in the LSx section for the swaps...
