the manifolds are proven to make big power. the ohio boys are making well over 1800hp with manifolds and trap over 200 mph in their fbodys with manifolds on big cubes. However they are ported versions but still working greatly. their one car has tubular other has manifolds and the manifold car is faster.

now i went with tubular for looks, but manifolds do work well.

this build is turning into an all out drag truck, it should be interesting to see what it does. Should be capable of low 9s passes with ease

Thanks guys, I am going to try and get the last mounting bracket made up today. Hopefully next week my heads come in and I can start building the crossover pipe.

im sure manifolds can work . but most who go this wild on a build would go with custom headers now with that said i must say those connecting rods are awesome . from what ive been reading they can and are used regularly for street use.

2004ss, don't get me wrong I would like to use the header style manifold but I think I am going to have just enough cash to finish this build this year. I am trying to save money where I can but still keep the reliablity and performance there.

Next year I am going to upgrade the things I couldn't this year. Thanks for all the cudos guys.

I was going to do a little more work on it today but it is just to damn hot.
