Damn Spoolin, why you gotta make almost everyone feel completely inadequate with their setups. LOL. Can't wait to see how this one turns out

I'm shooting for 700rwhp, anything above that right now would be a bonus. I'm not gonna spin this thing much past 6K, and aiming for a minimum of 600 ft/lbs between 2500-6000.
Depending on how close to budget this build goes along I plan on using an Electric Water pump, a belt driven evac pump, and Morosso Dry sump system.

This truck is gonna remain my DD and I drive ALOT when I'm home so I'd like for a quiet and maintenance free valve-train so solid roller is out for now. As is over revving this motor. On the rebuild I might make this thing a boosted motor but for now I'm going with simple and proven-ish.

I'll be happy with 115hp/L N/A. I think the newest ferrari gets 138hp/L so I'm not asking too much am I?

Awesome man, totally awesome...I'm so frickin jealous Make sure that either the builder or yourself goes through all of the open passages real good with wire brushes as I've seen many pics of the insides of these blocks where the chevy orange paint/powdercoating has oversprayed into there and flakes off after the coolant has been filled and the engine run, causing chunks and flakes of chevy orange to float around in the cooling system and possibly cause clogs. If any of these chunks end up in the crankcase they could possibly work their way on to the oil pump pickup and create unnecessary, sad, premature expensive engine failure

you're not trying hard enough my friend

and whats up with an 06 RR and spun rod bearing? There was a 954 at the track on sunday that puked its guts on the back straight. The shop I work for on Trackdays said probably #3 rod bearing. New motor time...

700rwhp at 6K? Mighty tall order my friend, but would be badass. Richard talked you into one of those belt driven vacuum pumps huh?

-4.25" Bore x 4.25" Stroke
-482 cubic inches
-Cam is
-All Pro 6 bolt heads (program for these heads currently being written by the mad scientist at WCCH)
-It's purely hypothetical since he hasn't finished writing the program but he did say he thinks the intake port volume can possible be 320cc's-ish
-ITB most likely Harrop's which will allow me to run the cam.-FLT 4L80e Lvl5 (as always)
-Headers are gonna be custom 2" primaries built by a friend
-A few tricks here and there to help find any hidden power but that's basically it!
OH...
-And alot alot of washer fluid and muffler bearings to give me that extra edge that we all desire!!

Jules you talkin about this intake here????
