Default My 1998 sc project

LIL UPDATE BELOW GUYS, THKS FOR LOOKING.

---------------------------------------------------------

HEY GUYS POSTING UP THIS THAT I HAVE HAD POSTED IN ANOTHER FORUM FOR BOUT 2 MONTHS NOW FIGURED ID SHARE WITH YOU GUYS. I JUST COPIED PASTED HERE SO IF THINGS ARE LIL OUT OF DATE ITS MOSTLY CUS OF THAT LOL.

--------------------------------

Just wanted to share what i currently have in the works.
Its a 1998 single cab (122K miles on it), 350 V8 vortec 2/4 drop. originally a V6 now has a 97 vortec 350 that came from a suburban (110k on it) has leather captain seats with center console. I dont plan to break records with this or not even race anyone. just want it to be a nice sunday cruiser that looks and sounds good and if i wanna do a burnout it will handle that no problem kind of truck lol. Basically want it to look like i bought it brand new (Factory look) and just put some wheels and lil drop.

Plans are:

Exterior:

1. Remove the bed cap, paint the rails again since the plastic messed it up and then bedline the inside.
2. replace all moldings with new ones from GM.
3. paint is in pretty excellent condition so just wax it every few weeks.
4. wheels im replacing with some same offset as what it has now but in a 20" wheel. rear will be 20x10 w/ 5" lip front will be 20x8.5 w/ 4" lip. (bonspeed sweep on order)
5. tires not sure of what brand yet, but size will be 315/35/20 for the rear and 275/40/20 for front

PowerTrain:

Plans are Cam, Stall, UD pulley, Lt Headers, E-FAns, Eaton posi unit (its a one legger now) :ownedthumb:, intake.

Interior:

everything is pretty nice in there just going to make it better by redoing hedliner, visors and part of the door panels with matching tan suede.

Security
a badass alarm lol

heres a pic of what it looks like now

Sweet build so far. Love the interior, mine has that dark blue and ive considered switching out. How much of a difference in power did you get with the valve train/ cam swap?
