I understand where youre coming from, why mess up a good thing? Do you have any other plans for it other than the conversion?

I'm always thinking about what's next. I have a goal of driving to the track and running 9.anything with this engine. Once I reach that, I'll be finished with the LSx stuff for awhile. I'll sell this engine and buy/build a BBC. It will take some planning like, I'll have to figure out what to do about headers, I'll get rid of the 10bolt and go with some sort of 9" or 12bolt. It will either have a blowershop 250 roots blower on it or I'll just stick with nitrous. At some point I may ditch the leaf springs and put some ladder bars under it to fit a bigger tire, but I don't even know if that will be necessary for what I want to do with the truck.

It will still be and WILL ALWAYS BE something that I can just jump in, fire up and DRIVE IT where ever I want.

Just wondering but why get rid of the lsx platform? Im actually surprised at how well the 10 bolt has held up thru all the abuse youve put it thru lol. No matter what it will always be one of my favorite trucks, kudos

Thank you very much for the compliments.

To go much faster reliably is going to cost some serious money to continue with the LSx. For the money I have in my current motor I could have built a decent 500+ c.i. bbc and sprayed the ***** off of it lol I wouldn't have had any trouble reaching the goals I have.

Nitrous done correctly needs to breathe really well ie, big intake and exhaust flow. Not that the LSx can't have that, but at a cost that just doesn't make sense to me. Don't take what I'm saying I'm the wrong way though. I'm strictly talking about a street friendly nitrous combination. If going turbo was in my budget, I'd get a 6.0 block, some forged pistons and rods, hang a couple turbos off the front of it and make some serious steam. Unfortunately to do a turbo setup the way I would want to do it, would cost way more money than I have to spend

Point taken. How much are you spraying right now? Is the bottom end completely forged on your 33x?

~300?? Somewhere around there. The motor is built for that of course. With a big block I won't have to spray it as much to make similar power and it will last forever

Did a little work on the black truck today. Excuse the dirtyness. It was very windy here today and blew in all kinds of dirt and grass.

Got my ARC touch panel installed and laid my wiring board in the truck as well.

The ribbon for the touch panel wasn't long enough to reach where I wanted to mount the wiring board(on the back wall), so I mounted it under the passenger seat.

Touch Panel mounted. Just need to clean the bezel up and repaint it.
