That turbo looks a wee little bit bigger than mine... LOL, Love the wastegate! I also have a Precision, although mines only a 46mm but all the same, VERY nice quality!

In case anyone ever wandered...the front hubs and rotors for a 2wd 2006-2007 half ton Chevy weigh ~75pounds
The axles and drums weigh over 100pounds.

Lots of rotating weight. And is ridiculous to ship...

Lets see...a few changes...of course

I'd like to make a decent amount of reliable horsepower without ever having to buy $13+/gal fuel...c16/q16 etc...I didn't feel I could reach my goals with 91octane and windshield washer fluid in the water meth kit. I'd like to be able to run e85, but not be limited to it since the nearest station that carries it is still an hour away. Soooo, I sold all my carburetor stuff except the MSD6010.

The MSD will still control the timing. I like it. It's simple and easy to use. Fueling will be controlled by Megasquirt. It seems simple enough to use after the initial setup. On the fly tuning, closed loop wideband correction and, the most important, data logging. Also has built in boost control. I know I know, factory efi, blah blah blah. I don't like it, I don't like the DBW tb that I'd have to use, and EFI Live and HP Tuners intimidate and confuse me. It is what it is.

I'll start off with my existing fuel system. A1000 with -10 feed and -8 return, new/used aeromotive regulator, 73# at 43.5 psi FIC injectors, and my 3 nozzle AIS meth kit with straight methanol in the system and pump gas. Vic jr, elbow, and cable drive tb will round out the swap. I think this will get me headed in the right direction and give me a chance to learn the Megasquirt. I'll be saving for the fuel pump, regulator, and injectors I want to be able to run e85 in the future.

Got my hot parts in from KBRacing. Great stuff, of course.

Got my converter back from being rebuilt for the new setup from FTI.

Motor is finished at the machine shop. Going to pick it up Friday and start assembly.

******* UPS...I sent my front hubs and rotors off the Moser Engineering September 19 to be converted for my new wheels. They some how managed to lose this 80# box of iron. Started a tracer on the 26th of September. It's now the 16th of October and no one know where my parts are, still. UPS is pretty much giving me the run around. It sucks. Prolly going to have to buy new parts and send them off to be done. That really sucks.

So, for now, the truck is on jack stands, dirty as hell, with no completion date in sight for at least the next month from what I'm seeing. Going to order a bunch of wiring stuff soon and start on wiring the fuel injection so I can atleast feel like I'm accomplishing somethin

Looks good man, love the welds. I have a kb log manifold setting at my house to, looks really nice he does a good job. You should be able to make some vary good power on pump gas and straight meth.
