Big bada boom update:
LSX 427 got divorced from the engine stand today so I could put the clutch on. I got hung up needing pilot bearing, but should have the engine going in the vette tomorrow (unless there is some hassle I need to clean up in the engine bay first).
The new specs:
LSX 427 (callies compstar crank and rods, weisco pistons)
Edelbrock 245's / WCCH P&P (and these are beauties... pics to follow)
LGM G5x3 cam (237/246 .600/.608 113lsa -- installed with 2* retard to make it a 113.5 ICL and 113 ecl)
cts-v lifters
crane race gold 1.7 roller rockers (comp pushrods)
competition clutch stage 2
SLP 25% UD pulley
ARH 1 7/8 long tubes
ARH 3x3 non-catted X pipe
Corsa cat back
This will be mated to a MM12 tranny and 3.42 Z06 rear.
The CR for this beast will now be 10.7:1

Let's see... I have:
4 super duty 32 inch lift stands
2 cheapo yellow stands that came with one of my jacks
2 very nice 28 inchers
