I bought a STS Turbo Kit back in 05 and it sat for almost a year and a half. Had an intercooler and the gt-67 upgrade...

I got an idea to do Corvette z06 brakes. I was going to market them but a guy went out to the shop, had a set of brackets copied off my truck and sold them as his own idea (we know who came up with the idea and who did the research)

Then I found this site and it went all crazy...

found a brand new remanufactured 5.3 so I removed my tired 4.8, got an FLT level 5 tranny, 2600 stall, arp rod bolts, head bolts, meth injection, injectors, e fans, eaton posi, walbro fuel pump, sts ball bearing gt67, apexi avcr boost controller, Nelson Tune, bunch of gauges...and I'm sure I'm leaving lots out..

I owned a bodyshop for a couple years and my partner and his son were the only people I would let do the work. We closed down because of the Economy in 2008. In August 2009, I took it to my old partner to get the truck done.

Jon with DB Rods and Minis did the bag work, brake fabrication, the engine swap and all mechanicals. I did the electrical and whatever else I could do on the truck. The paintwork was done by Tim Pereira and his son Timmy...they now have a shop off Lamar in Austin.

Jon and I are on the next phaze of this project. We are yanking out the 5.3, STS Turbo kit, rear end and FLT level 5 tranny. He is building a 6.0 stroking it out to 403ci, doing a 4l80e (built of course), front mount turbo and a Ford 9" shortened. Going to do a 76mm or a 88mm single turbo. Hoping for 700-800whp on pump gas

Ill have to say, im not a fan of the escalade front swaps either.... but this truck makes a DAMN fine exception. Love the way this truck looks!!!

Can't wait to see it all finished up, again.
