My 99 RCSB LS6 Project
Picked up a running '99 RCSB for $400. My cousin just wanted to get it out of his way. Drove it to the shop and started tearing it down
Plans are a follows.
Drivetrain:
Engine: '04 LS6
Trans: 4l60E w/ 2800-3000 stall
Rear end: 3:73
Suspension: 4/6 or 4/5 (with helper spring to achieve a raked stance)
McGaughy's 2" drop spindles
Hotchkis Sport Performance 2" drop coils
DJM 4" flip kit
Belltech c-notches
Hotchkis sway bars - front and rear
Wheels/Tires:
Silverado SS wheels
255/40R20 - front
275/45R20 - rear
Paint:
GM Jetstream Blue and GM Black two tone.

That's an LS6 not an LS1. My dad found it for me and too much, that's all I will say. Damn thing is like brand new. Came out of a weekend driver that got hit hard in the right rear, totaling the car. Considering I only spent $400 on the truck I could afford to spend a little more. Sure, I could have gone with a 6.0 or 5.3 but, I really just wanted something stock that I could just drop in. Anything will be better then the v6 that was in the truck. lol.
