WAY too much to post all on here so I'll just post some pictures and put up a link to the build thread.

Build thread: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=340792
Photobucket: http://s276.photobucket.com/albums/k...ner/?start=all

The body is a '66 C-10 Step-side

Mid 80’s 1-ton truck FRAME

14 bolt rear end with a Detroit locker, and a Dana 60 up front with disk brakes on all four corners.

For tires and wheels, 38x15.50x20 Mickey Thompson MTZ’s and a set of American racing cannon wheels.

For the drive-train, a 454 vortec bored to 468, Turbo 400 trans w/ stall, and a 205 transfer case. Headers, cam, and heads.

For the gas tank, its a custom fabbed, 37 GALLON tank.

Getting it set up for train horns

For a size comparison, he's 6'2. Its about a total or 12" to 14" lift.

VERY rough photochopa of what the finished product should look like.

And for a real-life comparison

Over twenty donor trucks, countless hours of custom fabrication, and around $20k have gone into this so far. The body work is currently being done by the Francis-Tuttle Auto Body instructor. That is the hold up right now. All that is really left to do is get the body done, and do the interior.

Oh, it'll be one of THE ONLY ECSB STEP SIDE in that body style.

We cleaned up the frame and suspension yesterday and got some pics, but he hasn't uploaded them yet, so stay tuned!

Didn't mention the exhaust setup.

True duals, 3" tubing off of the headers into Flowmaster Off-road Super 44's SI/SI.

Why take them off? I have lost good shocks to crap ripping the upper seal while off roading without boots.
