My Build
FIRST AND FOREMOST, I WOULD LIKE TO SAY A SPECIAL "THANKS" TO EVERYONE WHO HAS HELPED ME GET TO THIS POINT:
ALLEN @ NELSON PERFORMANCE FOR GETTING ME STARTED ON THIS JOURNEY WITH MY FIRST TUNE AND FOR LAUGHING WHEN I SAID I "WOULD NEVER DO ANYTHING AS DRASTIC AS A CAM OR TORQUE CONVERTER", VIRGIL, GREG, MIC, TYLER FOR ALWAYS HELPING WITH YOUR TIME, KNOWLEDGE, PARTS, ETC., LOUIS GIGLIOTTI FOR THE TIME AND ATTENTION SPENT ON TUNING, AND MOST OF ALL MY WIFE FOR BEING SUPPORTIVE, PATIENT, AND UNDERSTANDING OF MY NEED TO HAVE "A THING". I USED TO SPEND A LOT OF TIME OUTDOORS HIKING AND CAMPING AND THERE'S NOT MUCH OF THAT TO DO AROUND HERE, SO THE PERFORMANCE BUG HAS HELPED FILL THAT GAP. MANY THANKS TO ALL OF YOU.
GOAL:
OVER 500 RWHP - OVER 500 FT-LB TQ - 11.XX 1/4 MILE E.T.
PLATFORM: 1999 CHEVY SILVERADO STEPSIDE WITH 18" FORGED WELD RENEGADE WHEELS:
2005 LQ4 6.0, 80MM TURBO, LINGENFELTER GT2-3 CAM, PATRIOT GOLD DUAL SPRINGS, STOCK BOTTOM END:
REMOTE-MOUNT OPTIMA YELLOW TOP BATTERY, REMOTE TERMINALS, AND DISCONNECT SWITCH:
SHOP OWNER SAID DYNO CALLIBRATED 15 LOW, SO ACTUAL IS APPROXIMATELY 458 RWHP & 461 FT LB TQ:
ME IN THE CLOSE LANE WITH A 12.55 RUN AND MIC IN THE FAR LANE WITH A 12.51 RUN:

Man Moze that thing looks killer! I love the blacked out tails on the stepside. that is what I have wanted my truck to look a lot alike... shaved and leveled... great lookin truck
