I finally have a ligitimate update! I got new wheels!... Okay really old wheels. I scored some C10 rally wheels on criagslist for $150. The tires are compleatly shot on them but I had to see how the wheels look on the Burb and I think they look right at home on her. Since the tires are shot I put the originals back on because I still have a lot of life on those tires. The trim is showing its age but not to bad I will work on making them shiny again. I like the black but I think I am going to paint them back to factory silver just so it looks more OEM. Now its time to start saving up for some nice tires. What is the widest tire I can fit on 15x7 wheels? Well tell me what you think.

So I am accumulating some parts here. All that I want now before I put the new parts on is some new OEM amber corner markers. I got a polished billet aluminum bow tie, all new light housings (craigslist $75 for about $300 worth of housings), chrome amber turn signals to avoid the dreaded egg yolk look. I am still working on restoring the wheels. Only progress on those is I got the tires removed and thrown out.

Your going the opposite direction I just went with mine.
I am not a fan of chrome. However, that color isn't going to pop without some chrome. Most red's tend to be that way, they need a little chrome to really bring out the color.
PS- the TBI intake is out and on the floor if your still interested.

And yeah I do like the chrome as long as it is tasteful. Lord knows we have all see those PT Cruisers and Hummer H2s that have no sense of taste.

I sure hope the tires last forever on the original wheels. I don't like the rallys at all.
Looks like you are slowly but surely improving every aspect of the truck though. I had a 93 I was starting on but with the 454 and needing a good deal of A/C work I sold it and bought my "06 Tahoe. I did like the burb though.

The rallys will look a lot better with silver powder coat and new chrome center caps and rings. Planing on Bridgestone Radial T/As with the white letters it will look a lot better than the preliminary pics of me trying them on.
and yeah my moto for this truck is "If it need replacing replace it with a better than factory option if possible"
