tore down... motor looked great for 99k on it still see the crosshatch and pistons were pretty clean
old heads looked to be burning pretty good... light tannish color on plugs too
new heads on... 862's home ported... shaved 30k and 3 angle valve job and new seals
and the rough idle clip.... stil got lots of tuning to go but it sounds so MEAN
pulled up to a light today at idle and saw the cars beside me looking for the musclecar..... ha shoulda seen their face when they realized it was me!!

been tuning for a little while now and got the idle good... but gotta order the wideband ASAP... having probs tuning I know it's got more *** than now. Also the stock exhaust with the single Magnaflow isn't gonna cut it anymore... Wideband and exhaust should help lots!! Love the sound!!

hooker up the lc-1 today.. still waiting on the gauge pod so it isn't mounted permanent yet. The tuning will start Monday. Got a set of f-body headers might throw on to get the exhaust done..... how many people have used them without problems??

Man that sounds mean, I love it If I ever build a street rod with a LS engine (that's a dream of mine...31 Ford 5 window coupe with an LSx...), that would be a great cam to run for that street rod sound!
As for F-body headers, I know that a bunch of guys have run Kooks F-body headers in their Silverado/Sierra's, but I'm not sure about S-10's (that's an S-10 in the video right?)

well getting the exhaust done in the mornin.. 3inch true duals from the manifolds back into x-pipe and the xr-1's.. gonna dump at the bumper but hide them. I gotta say this cam has a GREAT sounding idle.... but it is a bear to tune... YOU NEED THE WIDEBAND!! gauge pod came in today so gonna mount it tomorrow and start tuning after exhaust is done. I am almost positive the 7.350's are too short... I have the length checker so gonna set it to 7.375 and check.... I am 95% sure I will need some.
