Finally an update:
Got a new set of tires 275/45r20 Firestone destinations, was leery of firestone but they are excellent tires, better than my old kuhmos
Ordering T/A performance girdle diff cover and ARP bearing cap stud kit tommorow
When those show up, new set of 4.11s will be installed
Nitrous bottle will be filled wednesday, need to do some tweaking on my jets and read my plugs.
And depending on funds, Circle-D 3200 will be ordered and installed as well as my transgo hd2 kit

Well went and droped the truck off for the gear install, ended up putting another set of gears in as some how i was sent a 3.42 ring and 4.10 pinion (been to long to return), all new bearings, new pinion yoke, and arp carrier studs and ta cover.
currently has 175 miles on it, going to be easy for 300 then change fluid at 500.
next project is to get it painted.
thinking about hitting the 1/8th mile friday for the truck race at Mobile dragway

Well went to the track for test and tune and the truck class bracket race.....
had a buddy trailer it for the fun of it
first pass i got a decent burnout but still spun past the 60ft
60ft- 2.17
330ft- 5.96
1/8th et- 8.54
1/8th mph- 77.08
all the other passes i was havin trouble gettin a good burnout, it was like i was pushing through the front brakes.
ended up spinning and hitting the rev limiter at the 1-2 shift every time leading to several 8.98 passes.
next project is to get a line lock, i think if it would have hooked i could have seen 8.20s-8.40s on motor. Never ran a nitrous pass.

Cool project, just read through all of it. Can't wait to see it painted.
I would've gone with that circle-d 3600 though, even though it starts pulling at 3200, 3600 is probably only going to get reached with a transbrake anyways, and it would probably flash to about 3100 or 3200 normally, but now you might be flashing to a bit under 3000
