Hmm I didn't see anything with a quick google search minus just using oven cleaner or something to remove the anodization. I'll keep looking around.

forgot to mention that if you are going to buy them new you can just order them fully polished.

Tuning 210's isn't easy, those are CNG injectors, a stock computer will struggle and even on a Holley they aren't the best. Yeah they are cheap but cheap don't mean useful.

Other injectors that flow way less will perform way better. Cool build otherwise.

I was wondering why he chose those injectors?

thanks man, I’ve heard both good and bad. I consulted with my tuner before hand and was told we should be fine. Honestly, i chose them due to price and popularity.

Just with how large they are, the amount of scaling that you have to do to the VE table to make them work is just a lot. They flow so much fuel that the VE table needs to be reduced by so much and with how large they are you really don't need to run more than 3 bar of fuel pressure. Also trying to get them to idle without being really rich is hard, can never really pull enough fuel out.

I don't know what your power goals are but technically those injectors can make well north of 1,500hp. Something around 80-100lb/hr would be better and have better drive-ability.

For my knowledge, and others, What would you recommend in that range that is budget friendly? I'm looking at options right now in that range but pricing and quality seem to be all over the place.

I'm a fan of ID injectors, had 1000's & 1300's, and for street injectors as what FFDP mentioned you start to get into diminishing drivability the bigger you go.

Spend/stretch the dollar as best you can on fuel system (pump, filters, & injectors) up there with oiling system and valvetrain importance
Rule of thumb, every 10lbs. of injector = 100chp (based on premium fuel and or leaded race gas; going to ethanol fuel will increase fuel demand around 30% so your bigger injectors have now shrunk)

Seems today's injector selections are ID, FIC, and maybe FID might be a player. I actually had a set of SEP this last go round but it was too brief for feedback. I've read good and bad experiences, but far fewer complaints about ID.

I thought I heard that Bosch has discontinued or cut production back on the 210's due to mental amount of warranty claims. As many are clearly using these for ethanol/methanol fuels on a CNG injector.
