Not much to update so far. Got back on Sunday. Rex picked up the block from the machine shop and it had a ding on the deck, so it had to go back to clean that up. He got it back yesterday, started assembling it today, and apparently there's a groove in one of the crank journals so it has to go back to the shop and get re-ground.

Richard should be about done with the portwork on the new manifold by now...hoping that he ships it today so I can have it for the weekend and get the fuel line plumbing done.

Only other progress to report is the windshield washer/meth tank situation. I had an ugly washer fluid tank mounted to the firewall, since I converted my stock washer tank to a meth tank. Kyle had the idea of running two factory tanks, once on each side, so Monday night I stuffed another washer tank into the passenger side front, kind of a direct mirror of where the stock tank goes on the driver's side. I now have a full size tank for the washer fluid, and a full size tank for the meth Will take a few pics tonight when I get home.

Sounds like good progress, so how was your trip, didn't you go to the grand canyon or something like that?

Yeah it was a great trip! I wish I didn't have to come back. That's the only problem with vacations....they all end!

Anyway, here's the pics of the passenger side washer tank.

The only bracket I had to make

I had to twist is a little bit to allow it to clear the inner fender

Upper mounting point

Lower mounting point (this is from under the truck looking straight up)
