About 2 months after the cam swap my truck started smoking alot, we ran a bunch of test and couldn't come up with any other answer but a cracked head. So i did alot of saving and had a buddie hook me up with a set of custom heads and a ported to match intake

Ya it was a project haha. Im learing as i go we've done all the work our selfs. But with the ls7 springs thats what thunder racing said would be the way to go due to the cam? So far it runs great. Need a stall tho haha. Stall and gears soon. Will posts pics

Love the truck, nice color as well! Ever thinking about upgrading to the 6.0? Could always get yourself a little project motor on the side! All those upgrades can move over as well... Course gas mileage will suffer some!

You have done all of this and not done a stall converter? Very backwards but atleast you are making some good power of stock. Once you get a decent stall you will have a pretty screaming truck.

Truck also looks great.
