looks good, you need to go bigger, 6.0. people always talk smack about bad gas mileage, I stuck in an lq9 had it tuned for 91 and get 21mpg on the highway if I'm easy on it, on street tires but still. there is no comparison.

So some of you guys have been asking alot about the fans, well here ya go....

PARTS:

I bought 2 of these fans.....
14 Universal Pro Cool Electric Cooling Fan with Reversible Curved Blade | eBay

I was able to get a piece of galvanized metal for $20 im sure the prices will vary but shouldn't be too bad its about 1/16" thick.

Need wiring, fuses, silicone, and self tappers.

DIRECTIONS:

1. I Got the galvanized and had it cut to 29 3/4" X 21"

2. I had to use a grinder but i traced out the fans "od" and cut about a 1/4" inside of the lines to form the hole.

3.Once i got the holes cut out i sanded the galvanized then sprayed about 4-5 coats of high temp clear coat on it.

4.I then layed out the fans and use self tappers to mount them to the metal, once i floated them into place i applied high temp silicone around the whole fan "x2" to help secure and seal the fans.

5. Once the silicone dried I slipped the fans behind the radiator and used 5 self tappers to secure it to the radiator support.

6. We then hooked up the wiring, i had some issues finding the fuse to tap into so we just ran 2 toggle switches inside the cab. " made sure you add 2 fuses in the harness"

Pictures:

Fans layed out ready to trace

A look at what i came up with

Heres a picture of the fans mounted and everything cleaned up pre-silicone

We tucked all the wires, and it looks alot cleaner with the intake and such on. if i need more pics i can take em. we did the swap along with the stall so i was in a bit of a rush. hit me up if u all have nay questions.
