Update....
finally got a amp for my door speakers, and it sounds 10 times better. now just waiting till the trucks payed off in FEB and ill get my subs.... i hope to do rims and tires soon.... and hopefully alittle more modding but i think im about stuck unless i got boost?

SOOOO im down to $1600 on the truck, im hoping to goo boosted in the near future. hopefully by this time next year. heres a list of the mods i hope to do

quick up date....
got a used 4l80e from a 2000 HD came with the transfer case hope to be installing it along with this soon....
4l80e LS Pro Series stage 3 258mm 2b 2800-3000 stall
ill try and get some pictures of the tranny and if possible to and do a write up on the install i was also thinking of painting the tranny any ideas?

trucks awesome. i finally got my cam and everything installed in same truck as yours only thing different is im still on stock heads and intake which i want to upgrade next. Now i see why you were saying traction is an issue cause i now have that problem.
but keep up the good work cant wait to see it if you turbo it. something id like to do one day but wont be able to do anytime soon.

hell ya right on dude, ya im interested to see how the new trans and stall are going to work out. im still having a few issues figuring out how to do the swap. im just reading all i can the wiring is whats kick n my ***. i hope to throw it in in 2-3 weeks, been cleaning it up heres what i got so far.
now im not sure how to make the t-case work or if its a direct fit? it came with the tranny
