new project idea s10
ok here it goes. i have a 93 s10 rcsb. it currently has a 4.3 v6 in it. i traded all of my air suspension off of my fullsize for a 2002 4.8 to go in the s10. the motor includes all accessories and wiring and computer. as soon as my silverado is back in running condition and is being driven everyday this will be my new toy. planning on just doing a restoration on it with the drop it has and putting the 4.8 in it. maybe a little more to add later. i have been looking at coil over setups for the front and trying to find a set of zq8 sway bars for it. still designing the rear suspension. let me know if you have any ideas or tips. thanks, adam
the truck looked a lot worse when i got it. i only paid 900 dollars for it.

here is a link to my thread i don't think you need to back half it with such a small cubic inch motor. maybe a ladder bar setup would be better don't hack up your truck take a look at mine. I still got leaf springs and it cuts 1.5 60fts all day long.

a buddy of mine races with the same style truck. no need for a back half! run the mono leaf springs from calvert and the cal-tracs. mickey thompson 28" slicks at 12psi will hook on a transbrake. pull the front tire kind of hooking!
with some weight reduction you can get the trucks down close to 2500lbs.
